We've Moved

The Greater Grand Rapids Interfaith Hospitality Network moved into it's new Day Center on February 2, 2007. On March 17th, we had an Open House and over 150 people came to see our sharp, comfortable, functional new space!

Thanks to the following who helped make this new Day Center possible:

  • The Baldwin Foundation and Trinity Lutheran Church each gave us grant money for the new Day Center. We used this money to buy the new computers, the washer/dryer and deep freezer, to set up and turn on utilities, put in a security system, etc.
  • Steelcase donated all the new office furniture including desks, filing cabinets and more filing cabinets! Also the crushed cans, living room seating, storage and shelving.
  • Custer Office Interiors donated the time of their designer to help us pick out the furniture at Steelcase and then design and create our room layouts.
  • Our new landlord, Scott Yonkhoff (a member of Cornerstone - a host congregation) brought new meaning to the words "build to suit".
